I am Naomi Mottram, I work as a Freelance Translator from French and Russian into English. I also offer proofreading – ideal for previously translated texts or for texts written by a non native speaker of English.
I graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2011 with my Bachelors in French and Russian, and completed my MA Translation at the University of Bristol in 2021 with distinction. I have worked in the translation industry alongside my day job in higher education since 2018 and in summer 2023 I switched my focus entirely to language services.
I translate written texts, always aiming to provide a version in English that accurately reflects the source, and conveys its content, style, presentation and tone with great clarity.
